File Express is the new and most feature-rich file-sharing solution from Switzerland. The application is based on a predecessor of the same name, which was developed and operated by Swiss Cyber Gate. Swiss Cyber Gate AG was acquired 100% by Hostpoint in 2022.

Based on the existing platform, a completely new application with a modern design and many attractive features has been developed over the past years with Hostpoint's expertise and experience. The result is a web app with a promise: File Express is the most modern, secure, and simple way to send and receive files.

Under the Hostpoint umbrella, File Express is even better and remains 100% Swiss. Ongoing investments in further development are planned in the coming years, and operations are secured for the future.

Hostpoint is the largest web hosting provider and leading domain registrar in Switzerland. For 25 years, Hostpoint has been offering simple and straightforward solutions from a single source – for domains, websites, webshops, and email.

As an ICANN-accredited domain registrar, Hostpoint manages over 1.3 million domain names. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and a Swiss server location, Hostpoint ensures the stable daily operation of around 340,000 Swiss websites and 800,000 email accounts. The best support in the industry provides free, individual, competent, and efficient customer service 7 days a week in four languages. The 100% owner-managed company based in Rapperswil-Jona SG employs around 130 people.

Hostpoint strives to offer its customers internet services from a single source wherever possible. In addition to the core areas of web hosting and domains, this includes topics from the Virtual Office area such as our Email & Cloud Office or Hostpoint Meet solutions. File Express perfectly complements our product and service portfolio, as it makes data exchange for our numerous customers even simpler, more secure, and faster.

With File Express, as with all other Hostpoint services, we rely entirely on Switzerland as the data and legal location. This means that all data is hosted via our server infrastructure in Switzerland under the highest security standards.

As an independent company that is still 100% owned and managed by its founders, we have been exclusively committed to the Swiss location for over 20 years.
